Downloading one of our resources

• Whether or not you would like to subscribe to our newsletter.

Why: We use this information to send you the digital resource you wish to download, as well as to subscribe you to our newsletter, if applicable. When you indicate a listing you’re interested in, we also use this information to contact you and provide you with more details about said listing. 

Please note that if you refuse to provide the requested personal information, we will not be able to process your request.

Contacting us

You may wish to contact us in case of an issue or for any questions. During this process, we will collect, by email, information such as your first and last name, your email address, as well as any other information you choose to share with us during our exchanges.

Why: We use this information to identify you and respond to your questions or requests.

In addition to the specific purposes mentioned above, we use your data generally to :

Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

IT suppliers

Parties with whom it may be legally necessary: we may disclose your information if required to do so by law or if such disclosure is necessary in order to: 

• Comply with the law or any legal process;
• Protect the rights or property of Sunbelt Laval;
• Protect the security of our Site, our users and their data.

Parties likely to be involved in a financial transaction: we may transfer your data following a change of control, merger, liquidation, or other transaction involving Sunbelt Laval. WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

Your personal information is hosted locally in Quebec, as well as on the servers of the IT providers we use.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We will retain all information collected for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or for other essential purposes such as complying with legal obligations. We will destroy this data at the end of this period, or if you decide to withdraw your consent, where applicable. If you so request, once your data has been deleted, you will receive confirmation that your request has been processed.

SECURITY

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed inappropriately.

The personal data we collect is hosted on platforms known for their security, such as WordPress. These providers use industry-standard security protocols, including data encryption, and access controls, and multi-factor authentication.

AGE OF CONSENT

We do not collect information from minors under the age of 14. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor under the age of 14 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete any information that may have been collected.
